I’m in a strange mood today, Kind of down, but also relaxed at the same time. I’ve got really tired of all the social media noise these past few days, and I am consuming more than usual as I am off work, and working on my home computer, so I have more opportunity to see all the bullshit out there.
Silly me! Concerning my previous post about Apple upgrades, I should have mentioned I am referring to the various operating systems, NOT hardware. I certainly do not upgrade every time a new product comes out!
I’m not intending to upgrade either iPhones or Apple Watches this year. #apple
Slightly warmer in my house today. The thermostat says 20.5°C (69°F), so no need for any heating again.

A nice break from work now until the 27th. I’ve got a few tasks to get done, both computer-related and around the house. First, though, it’s time for a big mug of joe.
Well, that’s another working day done. I wasn’t looking forward to getting up at 5.30 am, nor am I looking forward to getting up at 5 am tomorrow, but I did volunteer, and it’s 17 hours over time, which will come in handy at the end of next week.
Weird. I was out this afternoon and had coffee and cake and did a little food shopping. Got home and started to prepare dinner and I came over dizzy, light headed and nauseous. In the end I had to go to bed and lie down. Feeling better after an hour lying still.
Popped by work to pick up paperwork for tomorrow’s job. Had to grab coffee and cake while I was there
I got some blowback after posting about the Charlie Kirk assassination yesterday. I certainly didn’t share the guy’s views, but it is very wrong to celebrate someone’s death because you don’t. I got told I was being disrespectful because I stated I disagreed with him. #politics

Someone, somewhere, on which platform I cannot remember, was asking if anyone listened to music through headphones while home alone. I’m doing that right now. Some music lends itself more to headphone listening, in my opinion.
Many people dislike the Apple Mouse. I’ve never had a problem with it myself. It does what I need it to do without any fuss or tantrums. Never loses connectivity. apple
I found my Apple Trackpad. Charged it up. Now I’ve got both a trackpad and a mouse on my desk. I’m going to keep them both there and see which one I reach for the most often. #apple
The problem with good headphones? I have to be VERY careful not to be late going out somewhere, as I get lost in the #music, and always want to play one more track.
Sometimes, these Ananda Nano headphones make me jump. I’m sitting at home alone, listening to some jazz. In a quiet part, someone, on the recording, coughed, to my left. I jumped and looked around as I thought someone was in the room behind me. The detail, clarity and soundstage are that good. #headphones #music
