Good morning! 4.30 and wide awake!

The heating only came on for a short while this morning, and I’m now sitting here with windows open through the house. Spring is definitely here.

2.40 am. Wide awake. Darn.

Second best bit of my work day. Coffee Break. What’s the best bit? Going home, of course! #coffee

It’s a dreary damp depressing kind of day today. Still I’m at work so it doesn’t matter.

It’s chilly out here but it’s a bright mostly sunny morning so far.

Monday Morning

Sigh. But only two days this week and then another week off!

I like to have a clock on the wall in each room of the house, even though I have an Apple Watch on and carry a phone around in my pocket. Anyone else like me?

I have sown basil, lemongrass, and coriander seeds in trays on the kitchen windowsill. I’ve also planted some marrow seeds into pots and put them in a warm place to germinate. Finally, I have sown some Welsh onion seeds in a large pot and again put it somewhere warm indoors to germinate.

I’m going out into the garden to check what seeds I have left over from last year, get some herb seeds into trays, and place them on the kitchen windowsill. I’m going to put the seed potatoes in over the next few days.
