Well, It’s Tuesday. That means it’s not Monday, although, really, every day seems much the same sometimes. After today, there is just tomorrow to do, and then I have a four day break, which I always look forward to.

It’s a mundane Monday morning. Grey, damp, dreary, depressing. Quiet at work though. I am done at three, so hoping the quiet continues.

I got home from work and, after showering, had a delicious salmon salad my wife made. Then I did some hoeing in the garden and planted out some marrows. Now I need another shower!

Bloody typical! Working all weekend, and the weather is really nice now. Currently 67°F (19°C), a real gorgeous blue sky day.

It’s a working weekend which sucks, but someone has to do it. At least it’s sensible hours.

I did think about swinging by the local on the way home. I go right past it, you see. It’s the stop before home. I was good, though, and came straight home. Now, I’ve poured a London Pride and am catching up on emails and stuff, sitting at my computer desk.

Another day done. I got home and prepared some dinner. Jacket potatoes in a very slow oven, lamb chops to go in with them later. Had a shower, shave and all that good stuff. I HAVE to get out of work clothes when I get home, or I’m not comfortable.

The simple pleasures of life. Sitting in the pub, with an excellent pint of cask ale, and the sun shining through the windows.

No sooner do I post about an impending delivery than they arrive. So I’ll be busy setting up this new Apple Watch for the next few minutes. I think I’ll have to call EE to get the data plan transferred from my old Series 7 to this one.

My second day off. Back to the salt mine tomorrow. Indoors today, as I’m waiting for a DPD delivery - a new Apple Watch - and I have a telephone appointment with my IBD team this afternoon. At least I don’t need to trek to the hospital.
