A Busy Morning

I got up at 6.30 am. I got the laundry finished, folded and put away. I planted some new pea shoot seeds in the kitchen for some salad later in the month. I got some cleaning done in the kitchen, which is a good job. The afternoon is rewarded with a few pints in the local and some wings, too.

I had a lie in this morning. It’s 6.50 am. I didn’t have to get up as early as during the week. There’s time for coffee at home right now, so off to the kitchen I go!

Folding Keyboard

One of the best small purchases I have made lately. I rarely use my phone for text input, save for short SMS/iMessages.

However, I purchased a folding keyboard and stand and I can put this in my pocket, and when I am out and about without a laptop or IPad with me, I can use it for typing into my iPhone. It means I’m more likely to do journal updates when the thought hits me, when out and about. I’ll have often forgotten what I was going to write by the time I get home.

Absence Makes The Heart Grow Fonder?

Probably not in this case, but I’ve just been getting up very early in the mornings for work and consequently feeling too drained in the afternoons to put fingers to keyboard very much! I haven’t gone away though.

So the Tangerine Turd and the Israeli scumbag have been bombing Iran, apparently killing school children. Then the Farage vermin wants the UK to join in? I do hope SKS doesn’t get involved.

I didn’t have any plans when I got up. However, I’ve been to the corner store for bread, and to Costco for meat and fish, and now to the local pub for a couple of pints and some buffalo wings.

RIP Neil Sedaka dead at 86.

The morning after the night before. But now it’s the night after the morning after and it’s all good in the garden now.

Phil Spector had a sad end, and so did his victim, but he did produce some wonderful music.

Yet another hospital visit. This time Rheumatology. Got another steroid injection into my right shoulder to relieve the pain of bursitis.

I’ve not really got into AI much at all, aside from some photographic editing. However, I was reading about Gemini earlier today, and decided to poke around in it. I’m not sure yet how it can help me.

Sunday Afternoon

So we get a bunch of tidying up done and then, as it’s a bit late to start preparing a roast dinner, we go to the pub for one.

A relaxing Sunday morning. Coffee and music and now some oatmeal for breakfast. Been up since 7 am but I can’t eat first thing.

I’ve had the painters in these past ten days. Today he was here but went home around 2 pm. It is Saturday after all! I’ve walked to my local for a couple of pints of Fuller’s ESB, and I’m waiting for my wife to join me, perhaps with a couple of her friends too. I’m not complaining, but that, folks, is an exciting Saturday evening out for me these days.

A chilly morning here. Currently 40°F. It’s dry, though, which is a good thing. It’s bin day, and they’ve been emptied. It’s coffee morning (every morning), and my mug is full. I think a day at home today after yesterday’s wanderings.

Bright Blue sky day here. Strange yellow thing shining through the window. Deceptive though, I stepped outside, and it was like walking into the refrigerator.
