Looking Back. A jazz album from Scott Hamilton, Jan Lundgren, Hans Bakenroth & Tommy Flanagan.
Monday Morning, almost 10 am. Coffee and journalling. Work at one. Then I have two days off. Starting with a GP apoointment tomorrow morning, and a meeting in the evening. Wednesday, planning to do a little gardening, but might get it done tomorrow. We shall see.

Sunday Morning. Mild but overcast. Another day at the salt mine ahead. Oh well. Gotta keep food on the table.
Oh well, it’s been a generally nce week off, but it’s back to the salt mine this afternoon, until 11pm, so that a boring, tedious Saturday ahead.
Last year (2025) We were walking by the Royal Albert Hall, and saw that the Grand Ole Opry 100th Anniversary Concert was on. We didn’t get to go at such short notice, but this evening, we wathced it on the TV as the BBC were there and it was available on the iPlayer.
I’ve just ordered some winter cabbage seeds. 5 different varietes. They’ll be here on Sunday, so can get them into seed trays, and get them started indoors, before I plant them outside. I have some frost protecetion if needed, and I should have cabbages from about February and on into spring.
Did some clearing out of the vegetable patch, and getting ready for the autumn. Better to do it now, while it’s dry and sunny, than leave it to a deary, dark damp afternoon in November!
