A Monday morning when I’ve got some leave or a day off is always good.

It’s chilly right now. It’s a nice clear sunny morning, but we’re getting a northerly wind which is making it feel quite chilly. It’s currently 45°

Gone to the local stores to pick up some prescription meds, get a few grocery items and also breakfast.

Coffee to get going, of course!

Last week,I was asleep by 8pm. Now, it’s after midnight and I’m wide awake and typing on my iPad in the dark!

Went to bed early, fell asleep, then woke up again, now wide awake!

I type this it’s currently 6:53 am on Sunday morning. That’s a three hour lying compared to what I’ve heard the rest of the week!

I’ve just been to the kitchen and made myself a nice big mug of black coffee as I usually have pretty much every morning. This morning, however, I have the luxury of taking it back to bed and being able to take my time and submit it a bit slower than I usually would and catch up on what’s going on around the world before get up and truly start the day.

I don’t mind getting up early in the morning. I am usually awake around 530 to 6 am. However, when I have an alarm call at 3:50 it’s just a little too early even for me. I’ve just done six of those, and today is the last one. For the next week I’m on leave and I can pretty much get out of bed when I want to within reason.

I’m in bed. That’s it really. Goodnight.

Living the high life! Smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel for breakfast. With coffee, of course

Well I haven’t really but I was just remembering the old song title anyway it’s a dreamy wet morning. It’s not cold current temperatures around 55°F but it’s going to be wet and windy for the next 24 hours according to the weather people.

Only one more day to do and then a week off. I would’ve been on leave tomorrow but I had to change that to take the following Sunday off.
