This morning I went to work with my wife. We had breakfast together at Ole & Steen. She went to work, and I went into London for a photowalk. I visited the LT Museum and the Apple Store. I took a number of photos.
It’s not good. I’ve been sitting here reading for a while, and neglecting the fact that my coffee mug is empty. This is going to be rectified right NOW!
Something possessed me to look in Flickr. I have a Pro account, but I don’t use it much. I do cross post into it from micro.blog though. Anyway, I was ging through photographs that go back over 100 years. The first I have in there that I took is from 1969. so that’s 57 years ago!
I got my journal up to date. I post something every day, even if it’s a little more than one line. I try to do it on the day, oe the day after but sometimes I get busy or extra tired and it doesn’t get done fr a while
I planted the strawberries into large pots. I did some weeding. I made a start on clearing out the garage. I put the bins out for collection tomorrow.
The 3.45 am alarm is brutal, but I was home from work at 1 pm. I’m now chilling with some journaling, some meditation, some reading, some music, and now a beer.
It’s Friday, and I’ve got a busy weekend ahead. Working on Saturday, outing on Sunday. Then a day off on Monday!
I spend much of my downtime listening to music. I have long moved away from Spotify. These days, I prefer Qobuz and Roon, and I discover a lot of music that way. My main genres are jazz and electronic. Right now, I’m trying out Maestro, a new music app from Paul McGowan of PS Audio.
