It’s Monday morning. Three days left to work this week. Then a long weekend off. Going to be busy though. Final garage clearout on Thursday, and then waste collection coming on Friday. It will be good to have a cleared-out garage, and front yard too! The only thing left will be how to get rid of all the old paint.

Well it’s coffee break time. The sun is out and it’s currently 60°F, which is pleasant. Another 4 hours and I’ll be on my way home.. RIght now, it’s time to get the refuel.

Coffee in bed would have been nice, but it’s a sucky Sunday workday today, so I’m having a coffee in the coffee shop next to my workplace.

Working on Saturday sucks. The day is quite uneventful so far though, but I don’t get home until around ten, and that’s bedtime.

Our volunteer application for CAMRA Ealing Beer Festival has been approved, so we’ll be pulling pints, halves and thirds on the afternoons of July 8th, 9th, and 10th in Walpole Park, Ealing. Around 350 beers are available, along with ciders and wines. There are food stalls too, and music in the evenings.

Unusually for me I’m having a lie in this morning. My wife made me a coffee and she’s off to work now. I’ll get up in a while. I’ve got a hospital appointment this afternoon - a follow up scan after my DVT last year. I’ve used a day’s leave, so back to work tomorrow afternoon.

04:45 am. Woke up with a sore arm and feeling a little ropey after having had a Covid booster yesterday morning. The ropiness will wear off in a few hours and the sore arm in a few days. Better than having Covid again though.

Vinyl Evening: Jackie Wilson

I woke up this morning with a bad pain in my lower right side. When I move, I sometimes feel a sharp twinge. I’m hoping that a couple of hours of writing and a couple of gallons of coffee will see it off.

Finished work until Thursday afternoon. To celebrate this event, I’m having a beer or two in the local on the way home
