I took some photographs at the gig I went to last evening, and posted a few of them on my website here: www.ianmayphotography.com/the-bonus…

I just did a deep-level virus scan of my M4 Pro Mac Mini. Took a little while, but there were 1.3m files in total.

Home alone with no plans? That’s me today. Just seen my wife off to work, and now I’m sitting at the computer with a large mug of coffee, and it’s kinda nice to know I don’t have any pressure to do anything. I will get some things done around the house, probably, but I’ve no obligations today

It’s been a while since we went out in the evening to see some live music. It was a great time out, with good music, good food and good beer. We couldn’t stay late as my wife has work this morning, but we really enjoyed it.

I just got an email to pre-order my Christmas potatoes. As it’s first come, first served, I put in the order. They’ll be here the first or second week of July. They were quite successful last year, and you can’t beat homegrown.

I’ve just seasoned and seared some short beef ribs, wrapped them in foil with some garlic, onions, and chimichurri, and put them in a slow oven for 4.5 hours. That gives me time to go and have a lunchtime pint at the local.

It’s a warm sunny day here. It’s already 77°F (26°C) at 11 am. I’ve been outside and mown the lawn a little while back before it got too warm, but still worked up a sweat and had to take another shower!

I’m on my 4th mug of coffee now. It’s 1.15 pm here.

A week or two ago, I managed to jam up the paper shredder with a plastic-coated label. I had to take the whole thing apart to get all the plastic bits out, but I’ve got it working again now. We always shred important documents, address labels, and envelopes.
