A sleepless night. Coughing and hacking every few minutes. Called in sick, which is annoying, but I can’t work all day with no sleep.

Definitely feeling under the weather this morning. A sore throat and an intermittent dry cough. I feel like I am running a slight fever, so I’ll check my temperature and take some paracetamol if needed. I only take pills if I really have to.

Good morning. Woken up with a sore throat and eyes. I obviously need coffee for the throat.

Going to Canterbury today to meet one of my boys and my granddaughter. Only an hour from london in the Hi speed train. Around a tenner each way

Something that pisses me off lately. I want to join a service, and I have to download and run it on my phone. I don’t want to do that. I want to access it on my Mac. I much prefer a keyboard when I’m inputting stuff, instead of having to sod about with a phone screen keyboard.

I’m now sitting in the back garden on my MacBook, listening to some lounge music, and drinking a Fuller’s London Pride.

I’ve put some lawn fertiliser down, but haven’t finished it - it’s a PITA using a watering can!
