Eyebeemania's Chatter
8.25 pm, Saturday evening. Getting ready for bed. Up at 6 am tomorrow for a day out to Brooklands.
The best type of Monday morning. A day off. Yesterdau was spent at Brooklands for the October Transport Fest. I took over 300 photographs, so I’m busy in Lightroom right now, doing some post processing.
Autumn has definitely arrived. It’s grey and dreary and depressing and the clocks go back so it will be dark at five. YUCK!
Today is the sixtieth anniversary of the Aberfan Disaster, when 144 people lost their lives, 116 of them young children. when a slag heap from a coal mine, overwhelmed the village, burying a primary school.
Woken up to a sunny morning today at least. We’re down in the forties now first thing though, so I’ve had to get a jacket out.
It’s chilly, wet, dreary outside. Still it is late October in London. Supposed to be a storm coming. Off to the salt mine later.
Another day at the salt mine coming up.
