gardening
The sun moved around. The patio is no longer in the shade. I came inside the house. I took a shower (I was gardening earlier anyway). I made lemon balm tea as we have a ton of it in the. garden. I’m in the front room, which is now away from the sun. IT’s 86°F (30°C) in here, certainly warm!
Then the hard labour part - dragged some old railway sleepers across the patio, as I’m going to make a raised bed with those in the near future. NOW, I have got a mug of coffee and can chill at the computer for a while.
I got up with my wife at 6.15 am, helped her get ready for work, and saw her off. Then, without even stopping for a coffee, I went to the garden and did some watering before the sun came out, and while it was still cool at only 61°. I then did a bunch of weeding.
I got home from work and, after showering, had a delicious salmon salad my wife made. Then I did some hoeing in the garden and planted out some marrows. Now I need another shower!
My wife has a day off today. I was working, and up at 4 am. She messaged to say that she had been in the garden and mowed the lawn. I had said I would get her to help me with it when I got home. I usually mow, and she rakes up. I’m not complaining, though!
I got some watering done early, as it’s the best time to do it, and also it’s a job done. Alternatively, watering late in the evening is second best.
Here are some strawberries with one of our rose bushes, and grow bags containing four different varieties of potatoes.

I had a lie-in this morning after waking up very early. I did go back to sleep until seven. Coffee now, and a bit of gardening too.
Got the first half dozen runner bean seedlings into the ground this afternoon, and put some canes in too, for future growth.
I got the rest of the seed potatoes into grow bags. I have four types so we shall see how they do. I’ve also planted garlic, and marrow.
I’ve sown more seeds too. Runner Beans, Peas, Chilli Peppers, and various herbs. I’ve also planted out some herbs that are already grown.
