The worst point of the weekend? Having to suffer Doombar in the Premier Inn at Frome. It truly is dire crap, but it was that or bland UK brewed Psuedo-lager fizz.

IT’s not been a bad day today. I’ve been at work, but it’s been sensible hours 7-4. I’ve finished work and headed to the pub for a beer, and it’s nice and relaxing. I’m enjoying a pint of Fuller’s ESB.

Having worked late shifts for the past week or so, I haven’t had the opportunity to have one single refreshing beer. However, I’m just rectifying that right now, as I’ve just opened a bottle of Fuller’s London Pride. I was going to the local, but I had a few things to do indoors, and I’m looking to have a few ales at the pub this evening, with Vinyl Night.

First of two days off. I got up late again after catching up on some sleep. This evening is Vinyl Night at the Mason’s Arms, but Kathy has an evening dental appointment now, which has thrown a spanner in the works a bit. We shall see how it all pans out. More important to get her toothache sorted!

A day at home today. Making dinner now. My wife will be home in about an hour and a half. Cracked open a beer.

Definitely sluggish this morning. Beers with a friend in the afternoon, and then wine tasting with my wife in the evening.

I scored 8/8 on CAMRA’s ‘Spot the fake craft’ quiz. Can you spot which ‘craft beers’ are actually owned by global corps? camra.org.uk/beer-repo…

It’s time for a lunchtime sherbet.

I did think about swinging by the local on the way home. I go right past it, you see. It’s the stop before home. I was good, though, and came straight home. Now, I’ve poured a London Pride and am catching up on emails and stuff, sitting at my computer desk.
