A week or two ago, I managed to jam up the paper shredder with a plastic-coated label. I had to take the whole thing apart to get all the plastic bits out, but I’ve got it working again now. We always shred important documents, address labels, and envelopes.
I’m not really into sports. Here’s a video explaining the psychology.
Then the hard labour part - dragged some old railway sleepers across the patio, as I’m going to make a raised bed with those in the near future. NOW, I have got a mug of coffee and can chill at the computer for a while.
I got up with my wife at 6.15 am, helped her get ready for work, and saw her off. Then, without even stopping for a coffee, I went to the garden and did some watering before the sun came out, and while it was still cool at only 61°. I then did a bunch of weeding.

I suppose some would look at this like it’s a Friday. However, once I finished work today, it’s my long weekend off, until next Monday. I get four days to do stuff that I actually enjoy doing!
Well, It’s Tuesday. That means it’s not Monday, although, really, every day seems much the same sometimes. After today, there is just tomorrow to do, and then I have a four day break, which I always look forward to.
It’s a mundane Monday morning. Grey, damp, dreary, depressing. Quiet at work though. I am done at three, so hoping the quiet continues.
I got home from work and, after showering, had a delicious salmon salad my wife made. Then I did some hoeing in the garden and planted out some marrows. Now I need another shower!
