Then, a walk into Kingston. A smoky hot dog in from Kingston Market, and then a short walk to 7000 Jars of Beer. I had an American Amber to start and followed that with a DIPA from Cornwall.

The next port of call was the Canbury Arms, not far from the bus stop. A pint of Young’s Ordinary in there was the order of the day.

I then walked up to the top of the hill, and to my surprise the pub at the top was already had open at 10.30am! Well, it was thirsty work, all that uphill walking , so I had to have a pint. That’s my excuse. After that I walked to Petersham, and then took a 65 bus into Kingston.

After seeing my wife into work, next to the first coffee shop, I decided to head up river. I started walking along the river path, but then after a short while, I veered off to explore the Terrace Gardens, and I found a coffee shop in there, that I didn’t know existed! So, time for another coffee!

Ok. A coffee out this morning. It’s a chilly start but a nice sunny day with no rain in the forecast. The savoury bites looked good so I had this one which has spinach and goat cheese inside.

Then I shall do a little photo walking

Almost 6am on Saturday morning. The first of nine days off. Nothing concrete planned, let’s see what the day brings.

It’s another pleasant sunny morning. I’m enjoying a coffee on my break. In just over three hours, I’ll be done until the 30th.

There was a a nice sunrise, but it was quite chilly. It’s warmed up somewhat since then though.

9.45 pm. Time to hit the hay. Alarm goes off at 5.30 am. Goodnight peeps!

Just two working days to go, including today. From Saturday, I have a nine-day break, which is always welcome.

The weather is getting more spring-like, and if it keeps up, I can get some digging and planting done in the garden.

A cloudy morning turned into a beautiful spring like afternoon. After a routine dental check up, I went out for a photo walk. Had a very pleasant walk from Hammersmith to Barnes along the river. Then a bus into Richmond and a beer or two in a riverside pub. Life is good.
