Sitting at West Middlesex Hospital for a 09:00 appointment for a Nerve Conduction Study. This is to determine whether I have Carpal Tunnel issues.
The worst point of the weekend? Having to suffer Doombar in the Premier Inn at Frome. It truly is dire crap, but it was that or bland UK brewed Psuedo-lager fizz.
It doesn’t seem 49 years ago today that Elvis died at the age of 42. He’d have been 91 now if still alive.
Nigel Farage has spent his summer fighting a pointless election against a bin, an attempted distraction from his £5m donation.
Meanwhile, the Labour Government has closed 13 more asylum hotels. That brings the total to 44 asylum hotels closed this year. Saving the taxpayer £224 million and bringing us a step closer to ending their use for good.
It’s currently, just after 8 am here in London, 71°F. It’s heading up to a forecast high of 94° this afternoon, with a ‘feels like’ temperature of 97°F (36°C)

IT’s not been a bad day today. I’ve been at work, but it’s been sensible hours 7-4. I’ve finished work and headed to the pub for a beer, and it’s nice and relaxing. I’m enjoying a pint of Fuller’s ESB.
I know about petrichor, and I’ve smelt it before. However, I am sitting in my front room, with the windows open, and headphones on. I got this really overpowering smell of dampness, and then I realised it had been gently spitting with rain outside. I’ve just never smelt it that strongly before, and never whilst indoors.
